The Ethics of the Analytics
When discussing analytic philosophy, the most frequently talked about topics are those concerning the theoretical; philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, and so on. However, what of the ethics of analytical philosophers? What value systems did they believe in? In this workshop, we will learn about the ethical views of the three most classical analytical philosophers; G. E. Moore, Bertrand Russel, and Ludwig Wittgenstein. This will be done through a series of special lectures from invited guests throughout the course of one day, including a discussion panel at the end.
The workshop itself takes place on Friday, 10th of May 2024, 10 AM till 6 PM. It can be attended without any registration.
However, students can also book it as a module (3 ECTS) which requires them to attend the pre- and debriefing sessions (1/5/24 and 24/5/24) and hand in a memo on the workshop. Course Catalogue Link
